Combo 3: 3 count, Wheel, Grab it
GRAB IT teaches you to "control the elbow, control the man". GRAB IT is the outside lever of the PROVEN TECHNIQUE of SIDE SCISSORS.
LIFT is designed to teach you to control the elbow and get your opponent to put his weight on his heels. This technique is effective in rushing the passer when the proven technique of LONG ARM LIFT is developed.
3 COUNT includes elements need for our PROVEN TECHNIQUES of SIDE SCISSORS, WHEEL, AND LONG ARM. It will teach us to improve our hand speed, hand placement, and awareness of timing.
COMBO 1 incorporates the HAND DRILLS of 3 COUNT and WHEEL. This drill will teach you to use correct distance and good timing. PROVEN TECHNIQUES of SIDE SCISSORS and LONG ARM WHEEL will be developed with COMBO 1.
COMBO 2 incorporates GRAB IT and LIFT to increase your hand speed, hand placement, and timing. COMBO 2 will also teach you elements that will develop into the PROVEN TECHNIQUES of SIDE SCISSORS AND LONG ARM LIFT.
Alternating Wheel is utilized once you have practiced the wheel hand drill. The Alternating Wheel will further develop you hand speed, placement, and awareness as you transition into our FBC Combined drills and FBC Proven Techniques.
Once you have learned and practiced the 3 COUNT hand drill you can utilize this ALTERNATING 3 COUNT. This will increase your hand speed, placement, and awareness of your technique. Your goal is to become fluent in your movement so the carry over to the combined drills and proven techniques is smooth.
